Destiny is predetermined and inevitable, in other words it is something that will come to be in your life. Our youth must awaken their destiny; but first they must be taught to seek God in order to receive the instructions needed to fulfill what only they have been destined to do. That sounds pretty exciting doesn't it!... and a little scary; the fact that someone else is in control, guiding your life and you must have total trust in them.

"Faith cometh by hearing": hearing the word of God. Our youth must prepare their hearts to hear. Children today are of a generation that have been labeled "X", a generation that many say are growing up without God,

(II Timothy 3.2.4.AMP) has labeled them as:

...lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane. [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good. [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God.

They must know it is time to wake-up from their slumber....

TV, the media, music, video games, online social networking sites (face book) and lack of parental support/supervision have all played a major part in the shaping of our youth. But God will have a remnant of people. A cluster of people, who will not give in to the world's tempting ;and, wicked ways. Ones that have chosen to live a life free of sin, ones that are in pursuit of all that God has for them, not fully understanding... yet trusting.

Our youth are in need of parents who will lead their generation to God lovingly, with the intent of showing them the importance of establishing a relationship with Him, not parents that just wants to force them to go to church.

It's time to wake-up!!!!

Too many of our children have hit the snooze button on Gods alarm clock!!!

My prayer today is that every youth desire to establish a relationship with God. I pray that each one will seek to grow in Him, be an example to others; and, develop a love for the word and things of God. I also pray that all youth will understand that the good, the bad and the ugly things that occur in their lives are preparing them for their destiny... And finally for those who are still asleep, I pray that they will be shaken to arise, conquer, pursue and fulfill their destiny....

It is time for all youth everywhere to hear the call to WAKE UP!
