Don't Look Back Transition is Good

Webster's dictionary defines transition as: (a): passage from one state, stage, subject, or place to another: change (b): a movement, development, or evolution from one form, stage, or style to another.
Philippians 3:14 (NKJV)
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
The Message (MSG)
Focused on the Goal 12-14 "I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running and I'm not turning back. "
Many times in life we find ourselves in a place of transition. Some transitions are exciting for example; moving from an apartment to a house or graduation from college and landing that dream job you've been longing for. All of these transitions/experiences are ones that bring about feelings of happiness; however, there are some transitions that are not so pleasant, such as finding oneself in the midst of a divorce due to infidelity, or the lost of a family member whom you've held dear, or like many people in our society who have lost a job or a home. Whatever it may be that you are transitioning from DON'T LOOK BACK! There is NO time for shoulda coulda woulda's ...why? Because the change MUST come; and the transition must take place. As believers, we should ALL be striving to go higher and higher, closer and closer with our walk in God. No, we may not make all the right decisions and mistakes will be made along the way; but God already knows what choices we will make. Transition can be lonely at times, relationships may change (some of them should), you may not see the heart change right away; but God will. At times, transition can feel like we're in a dark tunnel and can't see the light or break of day. It's times like this when we feel that God is so far away; and we can't find our way out, that the enemy slips in and bombards us with feelings of discouragement and defeat. I want to encourage you today that God has a purpose for your life; AND a purpose for this transition. Press my sister, press my brother. Don't you know God's strength is made perfect in our weakness? It's ok that you may have loss some friends along the way. Men of God, Woman of God embrace the change in your ministry. Transition is good, and God knows who IS and who IS NOT fit for the journey.
I view change as the "shedding away" of something. For example: those of you who work-out have to change your work-out routines from time to time, more than likely because you have mastered the previous workout and are no longer challenged, so you now have to either make your workout more rigorous by adding newness to the routine... or, simply change the routine all together. Well that is what happens in our transition, God was pleased in how we operated on our previous level, and now he is requiring us to go higher in him, and transition is that in-between place. I am not where I use to be; but, I am not were I'm supposed to be. Don't give up God is pushing us to the place he wants us to be. In order to be successful while in transition I want to give you three key points to help...
Acceptance- transition is continual throughout life; you must accept what God allows to happen in your life... don't be in denial... Embrace it!
Keep The Faith – God has promised you in his word that all things (the good, bad and the ugly) will work together for your good.Pray, Fast, Pray – Keep consistent in your prayer life, cry out to God to purge, clean, and remove all hurt and pain. Fast, and deny yourself something YOU LOVE , then replace it with something GOD LOVES
But most of all don't fall into Satan's trap of looking back and questioning yourself as to whether you should have done something different... DON'T LOOK BACK! God will take failures and turn them into victories. God will take our life's storms and turn them into a testimony.
So, whenever you find yourself either in transition, or about to encounter a transition within your life, just remember to Accept It, Keep The Faith, Pray Fast Pray.
Romans 8:28 (King James Version)
28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Prayer: Father we first ask for your forgiveness of anything we have done wrong to offend you or bring shame. Thank you, for your son Jesus who paved the way for us; and showed us how to transition in life. We pray for strength, endurance and patience through our life's transitions. Please continue to order our steps and make our pathway clear and straight. Our sole purpose is to be all that you have called us to be. We forgive ourselves first for ever doubting you. We forgive every enemy and every foe who tried to bring obstacles in our way. We thank you for triumphing over everything that the devil has tried to use to defeat or stop us. God we thank you for our life of transition from one place to the next. Thank you for choosing us to fulfill your purpose in the earth. And it's in Jesus Name We Pray Amen.
Be encouraged today your brighter days are in front of you. Transition is good!
